The Influential Communication Programme® is relevant for professionals at all levels! The ability to influence others is necessary in order to achieve your goals, regardless of which position you hold in your company.

Examples of common participants are: managers, project managers, specialists, graduate students, etc. Whether your goal is to have proposals approved, being more involved in important meetings, or you would like to have more confidence during discussions, there will always be someone you need to influence.

The Influential Communication Programme® consists of practical exercises, so that you will be at the centre of attention most of the time – also because there are only 9 participants per trainer.

Course programme

Structure Influential Communication Programme® | 2 days course

Pre-work: Personal intake & Influence Style Inventory (ISI)
One month before training, you’ll receive an invitation to activate your profile in the Influence Hub®, our online learning platform. There, you’ll complete your Personal Intake to define your learning objectives and the Influence Style Inventory, a 360-degree assessment of your influencing approach. In addition we ask you to invite (max 7) supporters from work and personal life to provide feedback as well.

Day 1: Assessment & the Influence Model®
On day 1 you will get to know the group, the trainer(s), and the programme. You will start with an assessment exercise, in which you deploy your current, natural influence behaviour. This is followed by a theoretical discussion of the Influence Model®. Afterwards, you set up specific learning objectives for yourself. This is followed by a theoretical deep dive focusing on all the Influence Styles. You learn to use those styles effectively through short role plays and exercises.

Day 2: ISI analysis & practice in the “communication flight simulator’’
You get the tools to analyse your ISI assessment: What signals about your communication behaviour do you get from your graph? The rest of the day, you will be using your new insights in our “communication flight simulator”. Through exercises, role plays and a personal case from real life, you experiment with different ways of communicating and behaviour. This not only gives you insight into a new communication palette, but also allows you to experience how it feels to be more effective.
